Pantothenic Acid Information and Usage

Nature's Sunshine Pantothenic Acid is a supplement made to assist in energy production and provide support to the nervous system, especially during stressful times. Also known as vitamin B5, pantothenic acid is required by the body for a variety of important functions.

For example, it must be present for proper function of the adrenals, the conversion of sugar and fat into energy, the development and maintenance of the nervous system and so much more. This vitamin works together with other B vitamins which is why it is usually taken in complex form or with other B vitamin supplements.

When the body is under stress it needs an increased intake of B vitamins because they are depleted rapidly and must be replaced. As mentioned before, you will need to take the full range of B vitamins for proper supplementation and nourishment.
