I-X Information and Usage

I-X by Nature's Sunshine is a product designed to support the health of the circulatory system using herbs that are a natural source of iron. In addition this formula also contains trace minerals and vitamins that the body needs for health. Iron is important because it is used to transport oxygen to the cells of the body where it is then added to glucose and used to produce energy. Iron is also necessary for proper metabolism of protein.

This formula contains herbs which naturally contain iron, in addition to other ingredients that are necessary for the proper absorption of iron. This makes the iron in I-X chelated in nature which means it is more readily absorbed. I-X also contains vitamins and minerals like vitamin A, vitamin C, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, riboflavin, silicon, thiamine and zinc.

The ingredients that make up I-X have been chosen for their beneficial effects on the circulatory system in addition to their vitamin and mineral content. The herbs included in this formula are yellow dock root, burdock root, nettle leaves, mullein, chickweed, red beet root and red raspberry leaves. Although each of these herbs has individual benefits they work even better together for a particular purpose when combined in a proprietary blend such as I-X.
