Mood Elevator by Nature's Sunshine Products is a blend of 17 herbs used in ancient Chinese healing as fire enhancing ingredients.

These ingredients help encourage a proper balance and release trapped chi so that it may flow freely. In Chinese medicine chi is the word used to describe energy and/or vitality which flows through the body, mind and spirit. This formula also works to promote well-being and also strengthens the liver.

In Chinese healing, the liver is an important organ when it comes to your mood. By supporting the liver, you are supporting the mood as this organ plays an important part. The Chinese term for the English word liver is "jie yu," which is translated to "relieve depression." Therefore, the herbs in this formula were chosen not only for their positive effects on the mood but also their positive effects on the liver, lymphatic system and circulatory system.

These herbs include perilla leaves, bamboo sap, gambir stem, ginger rhizome, Panax ginseng, Tang-kuei root, licorice root and quite a few other beneficial botanicals.
