5-HTP Power by Nature's Sunshine is a product designed to support the nervous system and improve the quality and duration of your sleep.

It may also work to enhance mood thanks to hydroxytryptophan, which is a precursor to serotonin. Serotonin is a neurotransmitter in the brain that works to regulate mood, appetite and sleep. Hydroxytryptophan is converted by the body into serotonin, which can help alleviate symptoms of serotonin imbalance such as insomnia, nervousness and increased or decreased appetite.

In addition to hydroxytryptophan, 5-HTP Power also contains eleuthero, suma, ashwaganda, vitamin B6 and zinc. Eleuthero, or Siberian ginseng, is a powerful adaptogen that helps boost energy and guard against the effects of environmental and biological stress. Suma and ashwaganda are also adaptogens which may serve as all over tonics for the body.
