PDA - Discontinued Information and Usage

PDA is a product by Nature's Sunshine that assists with the digestion of protein. It also helps the body maintain a healthy level of friendly flora in the intestinal tract. The stomach makes its own hyrochloric acid, or HC1. However as we age the level of HC1 produced gets smaller.

This may have a detrimental effect on the amount of protein the body is able to digest and absorb. For this reason supplementation with a product such as this one may be recommended.Without supplementation, ineffective digestion of protein may compromise the level of healthy bacteria in the intestinal tract.

PDA contains betaine and pepsin, both of which promote healthy intestinal flora. Betaine contains a diluted form of hydrochloric acid while pepsin promotes the digestion of protein. As with all Nature's Sunshine products, PDA contains only the highest quality natural ingredients.
