Nature's Sunshine Food Enzymes is a product designed to support the natural production of crucial enzymes by the body. Enzymes are very important in the digestion and absorption of carbohydrates, proteins and fats. Although the body produces its own enzymes it may sometimes require supplementation.

Some enzymes are obtained through food, however the average diet is high in processed foods which are low in natural enzymes. Therefore, you may want or need a supplement such as this one.

This product contains a variety of enzymes such as pepsin, bromelin, papain and pancreatin. It also contains what are known as bile salts which also assist in the digestion of fat and protein. The ingredients in this formula may help relieve discomfort associated with occasional dietary indigestion. Food Enzymes should be taken with food to ensure proper digestion of protein, carbohydrates, starches and fats.
