Black Ointment Information and Usage

Nature's Sunshine Black Ointment is a product designed for external topical use. It is used to soothe and comfort skin suffering from minor irritation. The herbs contained in this blend have been used for ages to improve the quality and feel of the skin. They include lobelia, comfrey, mullein, marshmallow, chickweed, red clover and chaparral herb. These beneficial ingredients are combined in a base of beeswax, olive oil, vitamin E oil and pine tar.

Each of the carefully chosen ingredients in this formula soothes and protects the skin in some way. For example, mullein and marshmallow feature a high mucilage content which moisturizes and protects. Olive oil is a great moisturizer which helps even the most parched skin. This product can be mixed with Natures Sunshine Bone/Skin Poultice. Together these products combine to create a comforting poultice that can be applied externally.
