Defense Maintenance by Nature's Sunshine is a product made to support a healthy immune system. It contains a carefully chosen blend of antioxidants, vitamins, minerals and cruciferous vegetable powders that work together to provide optimum support to the immune system. Cruciferous vegetables have received lots of attention lately because of their superfood status and preventative abilities.

In this formula, you get vitamin A that contains fish oils, beta-carotene and palmitate. You also get vitamin C, vitamin E, selenium and zinc. Then of course there are the beneficial herbal and vegetable ingredients such as barley grass, asparagus, broccoli powder, cabbage powder and wheat grass juice powder.

This formula also contains adaptogenic herbs like parthenium root, eleuthero root and astralagus root. An adaptogen is a substance used to support the body and protect against various types of stress.
